It has much faster speeds than my older router and looks a lot sleeker as well but the reception is pretty bad. After going about 25 feet away I loose signal on my devices.I changed the channel on it to something my neighbors didn't have and yet I still get bad reception so now I must find a dual band repeater and spend more money on something that I didn't necessarily need in the first place.

I looked at all the networks in my area an found there was over 10 networks my laptop picked up. I bought this router so I could us the 5GHz channels and not have so much interference with the lower frequencies. My laptop now runs great and no lag online. The product is priced great and I haven't had a complaint yet about it.

Q1. What should I do when the router drops connection ?:     1. May I know if it will drop when you connect to your Modem directly? If yes, would you like to have a double check with your ISP regarding network traffic. If no, let us go ahead next step.
    2. Other routers or wireless devices such as bluetooth nearby could cause interference to your signal and data transfer rates. Try removing other routers/wireless devices.
    3. Select channel 1,6,11 manually as the signal through these channels should be more stable.
    4. Check that other computers are not occupying your network bandwidth. Make sure that your wireless adapter is working properly as well.     5. Cut down the distance between the router and your devices in case that signal is sharply affected by obstacles.
    These are just some basic methods, but we are happy to provide more tailored recommendations. If it still dropping connection, please kindly let us know your hardware and software environment for more accurate troubleshooting.
Q2. Why cannot I load the router configuration page (http://192.168.0.1) successfully?:     1. Please make sure that you've enabled your DHCP in your computer settings, please see FAQ4.
    2. Please clear browser cached data or change another web browser or even anther computer.
    3. Make ensure that the connection between your computer and Anker router is the only active network connection on your computer. If you are setting up via a wired cable connection please disable all wireless connections firstly:
    For Windows 7 users: Go to Start --- Control Panel --- Network & Sharing Center --- Change AdapterSettings (or Manage Network Connections), right-click “Wireless”, then click “Disable”.
    For Windows XP users: Go to Start --- Control Panel --- Network Connections. Among the list of connections, right click“Wireless”, then click“Disable”.
        For Mac users: Click the Wi-Fi icon in the top-right corner of your desktop, then choose “Turn Wi-Fi Off”.
    4. If by any chance you have change the router’s IP address (LAN setting) previouly, please enter the previously customized IP address or try a reset.
Q3. What should I do when Smartphone/tablet can get connected to the router, but not PC?: 1 Since your smartphone/tablet can get connected without problem, it seems router a working one. Would you try another network adapter for you laptop to see if there is any improvement firstly?
2 Try another computer.
