  • [540 Days Warranty] Anker® 4400mAh Replacement Extended Battery for Samsung...
  • I have nothing bad to say about this battery, but I think I'm going to return it anyway. It's my fault because I hadn't thought out the idea of replacing the back cover & now that it's here I realize it's something I don't want to have to do. Not Anker's fault!

  • 2 days of charge
  • This was a replacement for the original stock Samsung battery. Since I'd had the phone for almost 18 months, the battery wasn't holding as much charge and I would only get about 12-14 hours. Now I'm a heavy user of my phone. I almost always have YouTube, Google Play Music or Ingress going, and it's taken a toll. When I got this new battery and It didn't need recharging at the end of the day, I was pleased. When I didn't need to recharge it until the next night, I was ecstatic! With heavy use, and the express purpose of draining the battery, I was still able to get 24 hours before I needed to plug it in. Anker is a solid brand and I highly recommend any of their products, especially their extended batteries.

  • Best Battery
  • I've used this battery for like 2 weeks and I've been getting excellent battery life. I usually start my day around 11 A.M. and end it around 4 A.M.. On my stock battery i would end with less than 10% by 4 AM. I bought A Yesoo extended battery and it was good for a few weeks then the battery life suffered greatly. With the Yesoo battery i usually end the day with less than 30% by 4 AM. But with this battery i end the day with 50% sometimes 70% with light use. Sometimes i don't even charge my phone at night.. I usually use my phone for YouTube, Facebook and music. Anker has really good products, this isn't my first time buy their products either.

  • I purchased this battery for my Samsung S3 which dies all the time. The battery does last all day. I have had it for several months and the battery is still working perfect. Pros: Price is cheap Includes a case for the extended battery Easy to install Battery last a very long time. Comes with a warranty Cons: Extra weight of the battery Have to use the case provided therefore you can't use your otterbox case anymore Battery takes double amount of time to charge this battery. Just leave it connected even if your phone indicates the battery is charged.

Customer FAQ

Q1.  How can I tell when my Anker cell phone battery is fully charged?
We recommend that you leave your phone plugged in for an additional half an hour after it displays “fully charged”. Many phones display 100% charge when they are actually only at 90%. The extra half an hour of charge time helps alleviate this issue, and ensures your battery will be at full capacity.
Q2.  How do I know if an Anker cell phone battery is compatible with my phone or not?
We offer detailed model descriptions, as well as lists of compatible phones/devices, on every website where our products are sold. We highly recommend that you carefully check this information before ordering any of our products.
Q3.  Can I charge the Anker cell phone battery with my original charger?
Yes, of course. All of our batteries are 100% compatible with any licensed or manufacturer-provided chargers.
Q4.  Should I only charge my battery when it’s completely empty?
No. In fact, we highly advise against this practice. Lithium batteries can dramatically suffer from decreased capacity and performance when repeatedly allowed to fully discharge. In order to keep your battery at its best, be sure to charge when the battery is “low”, not “empty”.
Q5.  How many recharge cycles does the Anker battery have? How many times can I charge it before it goes “dead”?
The cells used in Anker batteries are some of the best available on the market, and they are designed to last. The typical battery has well over 500 recharge cycles in its lifetime.
Q6.  What is the best way to store the battery if it won’t be in use for a while?
If your battery is expected to go through a prolonged period of storage, we recommend that you charge it to 40% capacity, remove it from your phone, cover it with a plastic film, and keep it in a dry, cool environment (lower than 25°C). Do not store it in a refrigerator if it is unsealed, as the moisture will damage the battery. Also, try to charge it at least once a month to maintain ideal capacity and ion activity.
Q7.  What is over-discharge? How does it affect battery performance?
Over-discharge occurs when the battery is empty, but the voltage reaches a certain value. Over-discharging a battery can have serious negative implications regarding a its performance. It reverses the polarity of the active elements in the battery’s electrodes, which severely reduces its capacity.

You can modify the otter box defender case to accommodate the larger battery. I have and use both.

Thanks for that input Leonard M! I know there is a company call Hyperion in US that sell some cases for extended batteries but I am not sure about Italy. You might want to do a search in Italy or just check out the otter box defender. Thanks!

Extended Battery
Extended battery and Back for S3 received and fitted, actually makes the phone a little less "fragile" to hold and more fitting for the larger hand, especially for field use. Time will tell for the battery life but fit, quality very good and cosmetically perfect.

hi good day :) i am very interested in Anker Batteries. in fact, i ordered two batteries from Amazon.. i have a question. i read your using tips and i found out this point: Avoid overcharge and over discharge. Please stop charging when the battery is 100% charged. what will happen if i left it over charging?? will it harm the battery life time only?? or something dangerous might happen like the battery will blow up??!!!!! that is my only concern... overall, i love ur products a lot.. keep it up guys :) regards,

Thank you for leaving us comment and letting us know your concern. Please note that the charger will automatically stops charging once the battery is full. After battery is fully charged, only a small amount of current will go into it, but it's better for you to avoid overcharging by disconnecting the power source no more than one hour after the battery is fully charged. Hope this helps.

Thank you for contacting us. Before we’re able to find the right battery for you, would you please let us know the exact model number of your phone as well as the part number of its original battery (e.g. the EB part number: EB575152VA or EB575152VU)? Additionally, could you please tell us the voltage and capacity of the original battery? Thanks.

i just received my anker 4400 mAh battery for my gs3 today. i read that i am suppose to condition the battery by letting it fully discharge and charge. but i already started to charge it. it is almost at 100%. what should i do? should i let is discharge then recharge it after it reaches 100%? I also read that you are to leave it charging for an extra 30 mins just to ensure the battery has received a full charge. is this also true? if there is anything else i should know about helping this battery condition so that I will get the most out of this product. Please advise.

Thank you for contacting us. If you have charged the battery to 100%, then would you please calibrate the battery for its best performance by following these steps? (try these steps for 3 or 4 times):

1.Disconnect the charger and use the battery until there is 10% power left.

2.Connect the charger until the battery is charged to 100%. Please do not use the phone during this charging process.

Below are some usage tips which can help you to get the most out of this battery:

1.Do not wait until the battery is fully empty to charge; over-discharging may damage the negative electrode and reduce total lifespan of the battery. Instead, recharge once the battery reaches 10%. Since lithiuim-ion batteries do not suffer from memory effect, customers can use partial-discharge cycles with no impact to overall battery life.

2.Avoid overcharging by disconnecting the power source no more than one hour after the battery is fully charged.

3.Do not store the bttery in a fully-charged or fully-discharged state. Instead, use the battery to about 40% before storing. Use the battery at least once three months.

Hope the above information helps, if you have any further questions, we will always here to assist you.
