  • This will charge pretty much anything that uses USB 5V as long as you have the right cable (so don't lose that weird camera cable.) Every device I've tried charges fast, even multiple devices simultaneously. I've never noticed it getting warm. It seems to do everything claimed quite well. The velcro cord tie helps keep it neat.

  • My family has been through a lot of chargers in the past few years. This one by Anke is simply the best. High-speed charging from all ports is the biggest plus. However, with four kids and multiple devices, I like that the unit has a power cable. Other charged plug directly into the wall or strip and often come unplugged when the kids are attaching their devices. I'm going to buy another one for my office and another for another area in our home.

  • This little guy does everything I need. I can now charge my iPad at full speed, my iPhone at 2.1amps (max) and my Kindle at the same time. It's smaller in person too, which I very much like and it has a soft plastic feel to it which is premium. Anker makes some high quality stuff. Keep an eye out on the coupons too below the product description. I was able to score 10% off by just putting a code in! Best charger ever, and now I don't have to have a bunch of transformers hanging out of an extension cord and worry about which cord will charge the fastest.

Q1.  Which charging port should I use to charge my device?
Thanks to PowerIQ technology, each charging port can charge any device at full speed – there's no need to find a specific port.
Q2.  What if the Anker 5-port Wall Charger is not charging my device(s)?
A. Check to ensure that your device is USB-powered with an input current between 0 and 8A and a voltage input of 5V.
B. Check to ensure that the power cord is connected to an active wall outlet and also firmly connected to the Anker 5-port Wall Charger.
Q3.  How do I check my device’s input current and voltage?
Please refer to your device’s user manual, original OEM charging adapter, or contact the manufacturer to determine this information.
Q4.  What is the maximum ouput of one usb port?
5V 2.4A.
Q5.  My device charges at 1 Amp, will this charger’s 8 Amp output harm it?
No, the charger will only supply the maximum charge current allowed by your device up to 2.4 Amps from each port.
Q6.  What if the Anker 5-port Wall Charger charges my device(s) slowly?
A. Check to ensure that the cable you are using to charge is the original cable that came with your device.
B. Check to ensure that the total input current required by your devices is not higher than 8A if you charge several devices at the same time.
C. Please email us at support@ianker.com during your 18-month warranty if your device appears to be defective or you need further help.
Q7.  What kind of USB charging cables should I use with this charger?
To ensure complete safety and best performance, we strongly recommend
using your device's original cable or a third-party certified cable
(such as MFI).
Q8.  When the charger is plugged into an outlet but has no devices plugged in, will it consume power? What is the standby power consumption?
The charger will consume almost no power in this state. Its standby power consumption is rated at ≤0.5W.

LG G2's have unusual charging technology and they're not compatible with many 3rd party chargers or batteries.

LG removed the design from their LG G3 though and that works fine with all our products.

Failed Product
The ports of my charger started failing. Down to only 2 working now. NewEgg and Anker unwilling to refund or even replace. Buyer beware......

When NewEgg sell our products they are contractually obliged to offer an 18 month warranty. This is AnkerDirect's warranty but they are supposed to process it by proxy.

If you could give our customer service guys a shout at support@ianker.com and let them know then we'll be able to get in touch with NewEgg on your behalf and help get it sorted.

There is no place to register your product. If you wanted to do so for something like warranty, it already has it. Just contact support@ianker.com if you need any help with your product and just provide them your order number as a proof of purchase.

Faulty product
I have purchased one of these chargers from amazon UK and after 20 days it has failed. The centre USB port is dead (no volts watts or amps) It has only been used with Samsung Tab 10,1 s3 and S4 Galaxy phones.I have changed leads and verified that the devices charge from the other USB ports.I am in the process of returning the product to Amazon UK for refund. I have already ordered a replacement from them.
