  • Always love anker products and their customer service
  • Always love anker products and their customer service. Make sure you have a good usb cable with this buy. The charger is compact, the retractable pins may not be sturdy when pluggin it into the wall but it's not a deal break.. still does the job. The IQ technology is the main reason i buy their products

  • I thought only Apple could make a charger this good but I was wrong
  • I thought only Apple could make a charger this good but I was wrong. It is compact and is rated at 4 ampere which means it will actually support charging 2 ordinary USB devices at once. I got it to charge Jackery, which is a battery rated at 12,000 mah used to charge cell phones on the go. The Anker handled charging the Jackery with only mild warmth in the charger. It is compact and light in weight and the AC prongs fold in so this is great for charging tablets and large batteries on the go.

  • I like it so much
  • I like it so much. It's small and cute. It's a little bigger than Apple 12W adapter. But when it works, it's hotter than Apple's product.

Customer FAQ

Q1.  Which charging port should I use to charge my device?
Thanks to Power IQ technology, each charging port can charge any device at full speed - there's no need to
find a specific port.
Q2.  What kind of USB charging cables should I use with this charger?
To ensure complete safety and best performance, we strongly recommend using your device's original cable or a third-party certified cables (such as MFI).
Q3.  What if the Anker Dual-Port Wall Charger is not charging my device(s)?
A. Check to ensure that your device is USB-powered with an input current between 0 and 2.4 amps and a voltage input of 5V.
B. Use a different usb cable to double check. If the issue is our wall charger, please feel free to email us at support@ianker.com to claim the 18 months warranty.
Q4.  What should I do if certain port/ports fail to work?
A. Please unplug the power cord from the back of the charger and any USB cables from the ports on the front.
B. After 15 minutes plug the power cord back in and try a different USB cable in the non-working port to see if the problem has been resolved.
C. Please email us at support@ianker.com during your 18-month warranty if your device appears to be defective or you need further help.
Q5.  Why are my Samsung Galaxy S5, S4 and Note 3 devices charging slightly slower from this charger than the original charger that came with my device?
The heightened sensitivity of these devices to voltage input may in some cases slow their charging speed.
Q6.  My device charges at 1 Amp, will this charger’s 4 Amp output harm it?
No, the charger will only supply the maximum charge current allowed by your device up to 2.4 Amps from each port. That is to say, if you use a 2.4A charger with a device drawing 1A, it will only draw 1A.
Q7.   How do I check my device’s input current and voltage?
Please refer to your device’s user manual, original OEM charging adapter, or contact the manufacturer to determine this information
Q8.  When the charger is plugged into an outlet but has no devices plugged in, will it consume power? What is the standby power consumption?
The charger will consume almost no power in this state. Its standby power consumption is rated at <0.5W.
Q9.  Can I use this charger in other countries?
Yes, this charger is compatible with 100-240V. However, the plug is designed for the country it was originally shipped to. You may need to buy a universal Outlet Plug Adapter .

Its design limits the use of an oversized plug on the other wall outlet. Anker ought to shift the plug design 90 degrees. I hate power plugs that take up more than half the face plate.

Spot on gherardini, I could not agree more. The plug orientation basically makes the charger useless.

will I get 2.4 A at the a same time? if i using two device?

Replies(2) Collapse Report as spam Feb 11, 2015 at 1:04 PM
gherardini

depends on the two devices and their respective max inputs. if the devices you plug in can take 2.4A each, then the charger will step down to 2A per slot.

ANKER Team
The max output is 4A, which is shared between the ports.

If you have 2 2.4A input devices plugged in then the charger will output 2A to each.

A complete list of compatible products would be very, very long.

The known incompatible devices are listed on our Amazon listings though.

Almost everything made, ever, that is chargeable by 5v USB. Save probably for orginal iPod line and LG G2s. Each port will max out at 2.4 A, 4A total, so if you're charging two devices, they will charge a wee bit slower than if you're charging one device at a time.

Note that this is a tab at the top of this page named "My Device", maybe that will help find the right unit for the device you have.  Hope that helps.

Compatible with the Asus ME301T tablet?
I just purchased this 2-port charger and connected it to my Asus MeMo ME301t tablet and although it says that it's charging, the battery life just keeps decreasing.  I tried both ports with the same result.  Just to make sure that the charger works, I connected it to my Samsung S4 phone (with the same USB cable) and it charged right up.  Please advise.  Thanks!

USB speakers
I use a pair of Altec Lansing BXR1220 USB powered speakers plugged into my GS4 charger to stream Pandora at work.  I carry a second USB charger in case I need to charge my phone.  Can this provide enough power for the speakers? Would such a device have any issues with the PowerIQ? Thanks!
