  • For the size, it meets my needs, which are to boost the sound on my laptop. I do leave it plugged in via the USB port, so it stays charged. The downside is that I had hoped to take it to the bedroom at night, and it starts cutting out @ 5 feet, totally out by 10. But again, for the price, I won't send it back.

You just need to turn the speaker on, go to your Bluetooth settings on your iPhone and you should be able to find it and pair from there!

go into your bluetooth settigns and add it as a device, when asked for a code, enter 0000 [4 zeros] that's it!

4.0 Speaker pouch

I love my speaker and take it everywhere. As a result I've lost the protective pouch that came with it. Is it possible to purchase a replacement as it was the perfect size?

Generally things like that are not warranty items but the good news is that an Anker monitor checks in and replies to questions here almost daily. You probably don't have to do anything but sit tight and see what they say.

It's a standard Micro USB to USB cable, they're fairly standard.

That would vary according to the source material and could be measured in inconsistent ways. It is a personal speaker, not intended to be loud vs being small.

turn off announcement voice
I really like this unit, but the annoucement voice annoys others around me - as well as me.  I can't figure out how to turn it off.  Also, the announcement voice does not respond to the volume switches and apparently no way to turn it down.  Please send me instructions to turn off or at least turn down this "feature."  Thank you, Ron

Unfortunately the voice cannot be turned off.

We have listened to our users though and we'll have new speakers available very soon which don't have this feature!

With current Bluetooth standards there is only one way I can think of and that is to use a stereo mini Y connector to hook them both to the source.

Yes gherardini I'm not sure when that new standard will become reality but two of the features of the next BT standard will be simultaneous multichannel transmission to multiple receivers and improved audio quality.

The speaker needs to be paired to play and most devices cannot pair with two Bluetooth connections at the same time so this won't work unfortunately.

I have this speaker.  LOVE this speaker.  I have used it with my ipad and iphone.  Until recently never had problems.  Just updated to iphone 5s and it will not connect to this speaker. Speaker still works with the ipad.  iphone 5s works with my cars bluetooth.  These two just will not connect.At&T guy at the store said problem is with your device.  Really?Any ideas how to get these two together?  Am running ios 8.0.2. Thanks, Jim

There are known issues with Bluetooth and iOS 8 (up to and including 8.0.2). Supposedly there is a fix coming in 8.1.

Charging the Unit
The instructions say the LED should blink blue and red when charging and the solid blue when complete. My unit started blinking and then it stayed red. Is there a problem?

It should stay steady blue when it's fully charged.

Problème connection
Bonjour l'enceinte est parfaite le son est bon l'autonomie est très supérieures aux autres enceintes bluetooth que j'ai eu mais il y'a un problème.Quand je connecte mon enceinte bluetooth a mon téléphone je ne peux pas baisser le son a partir du portable je dois baisser le son uniquement sur l'enceinte, sur le manuel ce genre de problème n'est pas expliqué. Je voudrais savoir comment faire.Merci d'avance :)
